This baby fox was found next to the road and had an obvious broken leg but X-rays showed that both legs were broken.  He healed up and was released with 5 other red foxes.

Mother Ducks will lay their eggs in the oddest places.  Once the ducklings hatch their mother leads them to the nearest water.  Sometimesthe ducklings get separated and end up in rehabilitation until they are old enough to be on their own.

Baby squirrels frequently come into rehab.  These two are in a pre-release cage getting familiar to the outside.  They have the use of a nest box to protect them from the elements.

This fawn was hit by a car and us unconscious when he was found.  When he was checked out he had no broken bones or wounds  Three days later he was well enough to go back to where he came from.

This barred owl flew into a car and the finder brought him 50 miles for rehabilitation.  When he was ready to release he had to be driven back to the location where he was found.  It was December and he needed to return to his territory to have the best chance of surviving the winter.

This baby coyote was left near a house one night.  After leaving the baby alone for hours to see if the mother returned it was clear he was an orphan.  After talking to experts it was decided to place him at Trailside Zoo at Bear Mountain State Park.
